Family Camp

2017 OPC Family Camp

When:  August 14-18, 2017

Where:  Lincoln Lake Youth Camp

Speakers:  Rev. Mika Edmondson & Doug Felch

Topic:  "Enhancing Fellowship"

Please plan to sign-up for a wonderful time of fellowship and refreshment with other believers from our Michigan-Ontario Presbytery at our 22nd Annual OPC Family Camp, held at beautiful Lincoln Lake in Southwest Michigan. If you have questions, call the Harvest OPC office at 616-261-0327 or email the camp committee at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Our 2017 camp will focus on building redemptive relationships. Because the Church is a body—the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:27), there is a relationship between all believers. Christians must be very concerned with the well-being of others. No Christian is an island. Another believer’s sickness, poverty, joy, sin, and gifts affect me. We will focus on enhancing our fellowship as we also look at the opportunities and challenges we face. We will look at personal relationships in the church and the meaning of fellowship, discussing our need to administer grace and bring mutual healing and encouragement in our “redemptive relationships.” Having such relationships in the church is both our privilege and our responsibility. This means we need to foster deep relationships, not simply shallow or surface ones. We will learn practical ways of dealing with and redeeming difficult or broken relationships and what to do when conflicts arise.

Our speakers are Doug Felch and Pastor Mika Edmondson. Professor Felch is a compassionate pastor and teacher who recently retired from full-time work at Kuyper College, but remains active in his use of his many gifts. Pastor Mika is the enthusiastic pastor of the newest church in our presbytery, New City Fellowship OPC. We are thrilled that they both have agreed to teach the adult classes at Family Camp!

Family Camp 2016 Praise

We praise the Lord for the wonderful week we had at Family Camp 2016!

We enjoyed the crackling sounds of the campfire, the joyous shouts of children playing in the water, and the beautiful echo of voices raised in worship to our living God.

Next year you won’t want to miss this annual opportunity to fellowship with your fellow church and presbytery members as you grow closer to the Lord.
